Aims of TravelSmart - TravelSmart was formed
in order to offer medium size independent Wholesale Tour Operators the opportunity
to obtain strength through combined buying power, whilst retaining their individual
entrepreneurial skills and independent management.
- Our main aim is to
reduce the costs while improving profitability
- TravelSmart will not infringe
on the individual company's branding, management style or entrepreneurial skills,
neither will it inhibit the negotiation of special deals with properties based
on circumstances. These deals will not automatically become a portion of the group
structure.
How will this be achieved - Building
preferred supplier relationships in order to ensure volume growth to both suppliers
and tour operators.
- By combining buying power volumes to achieve competitive
rates and negotiate overrides with suppliers.
- Protection and growth of
partners income by being more competitive
- Attaining greater market share
for partners through competitive costing
- Economies of scale on common
expenditures such as insurance, printing, IT, etc.
