Membership requirements

  • Preference will be given to members of SATSA (Southern African Tourism Services Association)
  • All members must ascribe to the ethics of the member companies and of TravelSmart
  • Members may not be a member of any organisation that has similar goals or objectives to TravelSmart
  • Members are expected to support preferred products where possible in order to maximise returns and improve future rate negotiation.
  • Members will be required to provide details of reservation volumes by property in Rand value.
  • Members must have been operating as an inbound tour operator for minimum 5 years
  • Members must have a yearly turnover of minimum R10,000,000.00 to TravelSmart preferred suppliers

Cost of Membership

  • Monthly membership subscription fee of R 2200 (INCLUDES VAT)
  • The membership fee is self-funded from improved rates and business growth

Logo

The use of the TravelSmart logo signifies that shareholders are bonafida members of the company and adhere to the ethics of the company. All advertising material and brochures prepared by members must carry the TravelSmart logo either in black and white or the prescribed pantone.
